a pre-weekend update, 2008.09.04

i’m still not done with my singapore entry yet. in the meantime, check out my pics here. however, i’m doing a pre-weekend update because i don’t want to finish the week without posting some things that have gone through my mind these past few weeks.

• i’m gaining weight. ugh!!! i guess my sad, depressed, i don’t have an appetite phase is gone and has been replaced by an ooooh, that looks yummy! phase. i really should stop eating fast food for lunch (and dinner). i’m also going to limit my alcohol intake for the next months. no more drinking without an excuse which means i’ll only drink in parties. too bad i have at least 4 parties i promised to go to in the next two weeks. 😦

• i think i’ve pretty much proven that i’m not good with handling my own money. haay… i really do have to start learning how to use my credit card wisely. oh well, this is certainly a learning experience for me and my spending habits. it’s irritating because other credit cards keep on calling me here on my office line. i keep turning them down and yet they keep calling. grrr…

• i haven’t thrown a disc in quite a while, two weeks to be exact. that’s why i’m so glad training has resumed. i would’ve gone last tuesday but my mom was here so i had to head home early. i hope my throws don’t suck too much tonight, though! i’m super psyched for the upcoming malakas&maganda league!!! i love it when we play all womens!!! 😉

• when we were in singapore a part of me really wanted to buy a DSLR. i know, i know, it’s another camera expense. but i want one!!! hahaha. no worries though, i’m scheduling buying a new DLSR for next year. this year, i’m getting myself a pink sony vaio. 😉 hehehe.

• yey! it’s the start of tv season again in the US!!! woohoo!!! pasensya na… alam niyo naman i live vicariously through the fictional lives of tv show characters. hahaha. :))

i watched the season premiere of this because i was curious. it does look really interesting. one comment though… the girls here are so skinny, as in anorexically thin!!! i mean, i think my forearm is bigger than their upper arms. i think it’s okay to have one skinny character but to have all three lead characters look this skinny isn’t really setting a good example for teenagers out there. tsk tsk tsk. on the up side, i’m glad that Jennie Garth is back and isn’t super skinny. she’s beautiful.

the first two episodes of this were really funny!!! hahaha. bones & booth go to london and booth just hates it there! i’m looking forward to more of this!!!

p.s. if you’re wondering how i find time to watch these tv episodes, i don’t actually watch them but listen to them while i work. hahaha! i’m so excited for all the other tv shows i enjoy like house and grey’s anatomy! woot!!! 😉
