The Sound of Music (1965)

Starring: Christopher Plummer, Julie Andrews
Director: Robert Wise

Perhaps I had a wicked childhood
Perhaps I had a miserable youth
But somewhere in my wicked, miserable past
There must have been a moment of truth
For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good

i’ve always found this scene very romantic… from the song to the mood to all that kissing. 😉 it’s a nice thought that despite all we were in the past that we can still deserve a love like that.

Phantom of the Opera (2004)

Starring: Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, Patrick Wilson
Director: Joel Schumacher
Tagline: Her voice became his passion. Her love became his obsession. Her refusal became his rage…..

no more talk of darkness
forget these wide-eyed fears
i’m here, nothing can harm you
my word will warm and calm you

if i were christine i would be so confused… on one hand there is raoul, a viscount who was her childhood sweetheart who is offering her a life of comfort and love. and on the other hand there is the phantom, a tortured soul who is in passionately and obssessively love with her.

i love this song. i think any girl would love to hear this sang to them. 😀

it’s so unfair how some girls have guys fighting over them while some of us are left without anyone!!! 😡 hehehe. joke lang. duh! hindi naman true story ang phantom unlike yung sa sound of music noh!
